Principal's Welcome

To Caboolture State School
TEAM APPROACH
Welcome to the Caboolture State School web site. At our school we focus on the concept of a total TEAM – Together Everyone Achieves More. In the following message I intend to spell out what T.E.A.M. means to us as community at Caboolture State School:
.
TOGETHER:
At Caboolture, we aim to foster positive and open communication across the whole school community. To break down the barriers which can exist between the community and the school, we have developed the concept of Parent Forums. Through these forums, parents/caregivers can meet with the administration team monthly to discuss issues impacting on our school. Together, we look for creative solutions to problems facing the students at our school.
.
EVERYONE:
What or who is everyone? Our view at Caboolture is that everyone is any person who has any involvement with our school. We value and encourage participation from the wider community, as we attempt to promote the best possible educational outcomes for our students who are the future of our country.
.
ACHIEVES:
During a child’s time with us, we undertake to ensure that they achieve their maximum potential whether it be in the academic, cultural, sporting or social arena. At Caboolture we believe every child has his/her own individual strengths. We aim to capitalise, recognise and extend children’s strengths whilst also focusing upon areas identified as in need of further development. In other words, we acknowledge the ‘uniqueness’ of all children.
Through this approach our children will become lifelong learners in a changing world.
.
MORE:
Building positive and worthwhile partnerships and recognising the ‘uniqueness’ of children will lead to ‘more’ enhanced educational outcomes for our students.
So, I encourage you to adopt a ‘team’ approach and work with our school community toward this goal.
In your time with us I am sure your child/children will undertaker in an exciting, fun-filled and wonderful educational journey. I look forward to your participation in our learning team.
.
