Caboolture State School is located on the Sunshine Coast in the state of Queensland, Australia. To our north are the historical Glasshouse Mountains, as well as the sun and sand of the Sunshine Coast; to our east is the Pummistone Passage and Bribie Island. Forty-five minutes to the south lies the metropolitan city of Brisbane.

The total student enrolments for our school is 576 students. Year levels offered are from Prep to Year 7 and each class of students is coeducational. There is an average of 2 - 3 classes per year level. Administration staff include a Business services manager, two adminstation officers and a services officer. Specialist teachers include a full time music specialist, a full time physical education teacher and a visiting LOTE specialist. Our support services include one full time and two part time support teachers, a visiting guidance officer, two students with difficulties teachers and three permanent and three part time teacher aides.
In addition to the regular curriculum opportunities for our students we offer the following distinctive curriculum opportunities:
A Peer Support program is conducted across years 3 – 7. This program is led by trained year 7 students and aims to improve student relationships, behaviour and social skills.
Support-A-Reader, Support-A-Writer, Support-A-Maths Learner and a Computer Intervention Program are coordinated and run by Learning Support staff to enhance educational outcomes for appraised students.
A multi-faith religious education program is conducted for all students.
A school based Social Skilling program is run for years Prep, 1 and 2.
All students are exposed to the High Five Strategy to reduce the incidence of bullying within the school.
The Chaplain organizes and runs a number of programs aimed at improving student relationships and values.
Year 6 & 7 Indigenous students are involved in a Literacy Leadership program through the development of Web Page Design.
